Tiger Night
(An event held at our school to showcase the students work throughout the year.)

Addie's art project was a clay pot
Her class participated in the recycling project. Addie's was the flower garden which is pictured in an earlier post.
Megan, Sarah & Erwin did a Rube Goldberg project. It was a very complicated device that after all parts performed their respective duty it turned off an alarm clock. I believe Meg's final grade was an 87%! I think that was great after seeing the work that went into it!
In case you are unfamiliar with Rube, here is a brief description.

Reuben Garret Lucius Goldberg
(4 July 1883 – 7 December 1970) was an Americancartoonist, sculptor, author, engineer, and inventor who received a 1948 Pulitzer Prize for his political cartooning. He is best known for his series of popular cartoons depicting Rube Goldberg machines, complex devices that perform simple tasks in indirect, convoluted ways.

Excellent work kids! You make mom proud.
