You Rock!
Today I am posting the "You Rock" papers from Close to my Heart.  They are so incredibly versatile!  I used them for Megan's birthday and Addie's Kindergarten Graduation.   I am working  on a few cards too, but they are not ready to until then enjoy this little glimpse of "You Rock"!

The finished project....

2008 is history!  These are a clients 2008 Family Albums.  I complete an entire years worth of pictures for 2 children.  Each child gets their own book and it usually takes two books per year.  Here you are seeing the four finished books!  This feels really good, I love the feeling I get when I complete a project!

The last photos are a couple of recent pages that were in these books.

Guest Designer Tuesday
It's been along time since I posted, part of the reason is the time involved with uploading and the other part is my schedule!  Since Retreat I have been working non-stop on a family album for a customer.  My goal is to complete this project this week!  So I have taken several pictures of cards that my mother, Barbara McCurry has made and she is your guest designer this week!

My Mom's hobby of making cards started 2-3 years ago when I started selling Close to my Heart.  I think her favorite part of it is that most scrapbookers are she fits right in!  Also, most scrappers are avid scrapbook supply shoppers....which also fits her well!    :)

Mom attended our Creative Hearts Retreat, however she spent 99% of the weekend cooking, which is actually her other love. Growing up I enjoyed homemade everything!  We rarely had a side dish from a "mix".  Everything was from scratch..and it was excellent.

I am posting several of moms cards from the last year or so.  She leans towards a clean simple design, lots of flowers and glitter is always welcome at her scrap table!  Enjoy!

Last batch of homemade cards for customers & a few family Christmas pics......
This is the last two Christmas gift orders.  The order was  for a set of matching cards with 2 of each of the following; birthday, sympathy, wedding, thank you & Just because/hello/thinking of you type.  Once I came up with the "theme" of the sets, it was really quite easy to design each card.  The theme was obviously buttons.  It took alot of buttons to complete these two sets!

The color is right in the picture of the card bundles and the individual shots of each card,
but the ones where they are all laying on the table, the color is definitely off.

Strictly cards today!  These were all Christmas orders.  If you remember the first batch of homemade goodies I posted about a month ago, well here they are, plus the ones on this current post and a few more that I neglected to photograph were placed in this very large box.  This person had one heck of a Christmas, she shouldn't need to buy cards for several months!

later today, the last two sets of cards that were Christmas gifts and some Christmas pictures.
