I just love finding new hobbies! Jewelry is something I have always loved, but never took the time to learn. Well, until now! The local Hobby Lobby had beads 50% off a couple of weeks ago and I decided it was time to jump in. I bought some simple earring hooks, jump rings and some very simple looking beads. I made my mom 5 pairs...yes that's FIVE pairs of earrings for Mother's Day. I then went back to Hobby Lobby and hit the 50% off sale the next week and bought a ton of stuff! I am now officially a bead junkie. I know there could be lots of worse things I could be, so now I will play with paper two or three days and then play with beads the other days!

I have realized very quickly that paper is more "forgiving", but I am still learning. :-)

(For me.. not sure what I will wear them with, but I like them.)

This really started out as a "hum...I wonder....."

Addie was playing in the pool this afternoon with her friends and all I could see was blue pool and water...everywhere, hence the blue beads!
