WOW...Now that's what I call a Banana Split!

First you start with a 6 Foot Piece of vinyl guttering from Home Depot. SERIOUSLY! Next add 24 bananas, couple gallons of ice cream and many, many, many toppings! YUM!!

Camp Lotsafunsa 2009...these are the shirts I designed and then each girl tie-dyed them.

Cool, I just realized that my 100 post was a triple celebration and I didn't even plan it that way!

1. Addie's birthday card!!
2. Headed to Walt Disney World the biggest celebration on earth!!
3. It was my 100th post!!

ok, I'm a little silly........moving on. It's been several days since posting, the biggest reason is recovery time. I have not bounced back after our trip. It was a long 10 days, well worth it, but we are all very tired.

Upon returning I jumped into making t-shirts for Girl Scout Day camp. I designed an iron-on logo and then we tye-dyed each shirt with each girl at camp. My hands were green for 2 days!

Then we moved right into school supplies. You would not believe what a first grader needs for school. Megan on the other hand was very simple. Lots of notebooks, pens and pencils. Monday & Tuesday will be crazy busy so look for another post after Wednesday. Maybe I can start to get caught up next week. :)

Until then enjoy a recap of our trip.

15+ years.......wow.

Yep, that's how long I have held onto this little gem. It measures 5" wide by 8 1/2" tall, so it is a very large tag. I just absolutely love it. I have debated coloring it with markers, watercolor, tea staining it. You name it and the thought has probably ran through my mind. But here's the deal, I only have one and if I mess it up, I would be so sad. I don't have a clue what article of clothing this came off of and as you know if you have recently bought clothing.....they don't put tags like this on them anymore. This was an 80's thing. Tags were sooo cool then. In fact I was a "tag collector". Some kids collected baseball cards, others collected those little plastic charms...not me, I collected the artistic tags off of clothes. Weird, I know. But some of them were so cool and believe it or not, I have since used some of them on cards for customers.

What would you do with it? Scrap the story and leave it alone....color it....keep it in it's current home? (which was a basket on the shelf) Tell me!

A few more views from the studio................

I am soooooo lucky to have a great hubby that builds things for me! John has hung all of my shelves, counter top, hauled in the awesome pantry cabinet and even made my ribbon rack. He is so good to me.

Each picture has some ID tags so you can tell what your looking at. These pics were taken about a week ago, after some major sorting and cleaning. I tend to want to keep memorabilia type things. Thinking that "oh, that would be cute" on a page. Then I put them in baskets, buckets, trays and bowls and there they sit...sometimes several years! :) Ah, the life of a scrapper.

Later I will post one piece of memorabilia that has been with me for probably 15 years....I'm still looking for the perfect page to put it on.
